You had better walk this street, feeling as if you were a little child with full curiosity. Then you would find so many things joyful.
You would look up the open sky over the low rooves along the street and lok down the pavement. Behind the shops the river called Metoba- gawa runs. You would feel a sense of release.

▲Tiny restaurants get together along the path
It may be interesting to lay your eyes on the paths crossing Nawate- dori. Among them I recommend to get into Nawate-Yokocho along which many tiny popular restaurants, home cook, Yakitoriya and Yakinikuya or so, are standing side by side.
▲An approaching way to the shrine crossing Nawate st. through a bridge
As Nawate street is crossing the approaching way to Yohashira Jinja, it's fun walking around the precincts of it. Yohashira means, immediately the four pillars, but deeply four great Gods who formed Japan country in ancient myth.
Or would you like to walk down to the shore of Metoba-gawa, for there are several stairways down there ?
